All of our molds are designed by our experienced design engineers using state of the art processes from the preliminary layout that is sent to you for approval, to the detailed drawings of the mold that will be used by the mold makers during the mold build. We use concurrent design to reduce lead-time. RTC utilizes many new and innovative processes for mold making to ensure you, our customer, the best product possible. This starts with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Machining (CAM). Our CAD/CAM capabilities include: MasterCAM, Solid Works, AutoCAD, CADkey, and Smart CAM software packages.

At RTC we strive to provide a product that exceeds our customers’ expectations at each delivery. To ensure quality molds, each mold is assigned to a lead Mold Maker at the beginning of the design stage. Our lead Mold Makers assist in the design of the mold. The Mold Maker assigned to you will follow the mold through the entire build.

Every mold we build at RTC is tested for optimum processing performance and part quality. We do this to assure you that your mold meets specifications and will make quality parts the first time it is set up for a production run. Mold Makers, who were part of the build, are on hand to experience the test.

At RTC we have the capability to make almost any type of mold for almost any application. We make Prototype Insert Molds (M.U.D.), Aluminum Molds, Die Cast Molds, Collapsible Core Molds, Manifold/Hot Runner Molds, Auto Unscrewing Molds using Computerized Stepping Motors, Complex Cams, Pneumatic Side Action Molds, Multi-Cavity Molds with Interchangeable Components, and High-Speed Molds.
